Pasang Lhamu-Nicole Niquille Hospital-Lukla seeks a Chief-Doctor for the hospital based in Lukla, Solukhumbu.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage the medical personnel and create a team spirit. Manage and distribute the task of the medical personnel.
• Evaluate the need for voluntary expatriate personnel.
• Provide treatment to emergency patients, outdoor/indoor patients, ensure obstetric care, and supervise the same activities performed by other medical personnel.
• Carry out small surgical operations.
• Diagnose the more serious cases/diseases and manage their transfer to Kathmandu.
• Ensure coordination with the authorities of the Nepalese Ministry of Health, as well as the contacts to all the organizations concerned with the hospital In cooperation with the Executive Director.
• Ensure the management of the Hospital.
• Ensure the quality management and system of medical materials and drugs and manage the pharmacy.
